BEETHOVEN PROJECT 2020

In celebration of 250th Anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, we created the Beethoven Project. We learned about his life, his music, listened to the symphonies, and performed his compositions for piano. Every student learned, performed and recorded their chosen pieces.

It became an unforgettable journey fro all of us. The power, beauty and emotional richness of Beethoven's music not only touched but changed all of us. it is especially relevant in this year of Covid-19, fear, uncertainty, and broken plans. We need to remember that Beethoven overcame the loss of his hearing to give the world the most powerful immortal music.

It is a great honor and gift to touch it with our fingertips. Children who learned Beethoven's music have touched the greatness and will carry that with them forever.
